Help & answers

Common questions

When is the best time to visit Chefchaouen?

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are ideal, with mild days and clear mountain air. Summer can be warm but the town’s elevation keeps it cooler than the coast.

Is this tour private or in a group?

It is a private tour. Only your own party travels in the vehicle with your driver-guide — no fixed departure dates, no other travellers join.

How much driving is there?

Day 1 is the drive from Tangier to Chefchaouen (about 2–3 hours). Day 2 returns to Tangier. Both days are light on driving.

Where does the tour start and end?

Pickup on day 1 at Tangier airport or your hotel. Drop-off on day 2 at your Tangier hotel or the airport (or port).

What is included?

Airport pickup in Tangier, private air-conditioned vehicle with driver-guide, your own licensed driver-guide, a local guide for Chefchaouen, dinner, breakfast and the overnight stay.

What is not included?

Lunches and drinks, international flights, and entry fees to monuments.

Can we adjust the itinerary?

Absolutely — days and stops are all yours to adjust. We confirm changes and the price in writing before you book.

Is Chefchaouen safe to visit?

Yes. Chefchaouen is a calm, welcoming town in the Rif mountains, popular with travellers. Follow your guide’s advice and respect local customs.
